We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the amateur radio community for its outstanding support. Despite the steady rain throughout the morning and well into the afternoon, many of you still made the effort to attend the hamfest and let us know that you came out—rain or shine—simply to show your support.
We were especially touched by those who declined change from their ticket purchases to help ensure the event’s expenses were covered. Your generosity and commitment exemplify the spirit that has kept the Maysville Hamfest one of the oldest hamfests in eastern North Carolina.

Come join us Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 8 am for a down home, family friendly, swap meet. The Maysville Hamfest happens annually the second Sunday in October and has been going on since 1980. There will be radio raffle prizes at the end of the day along with hourly prizes. There is fun for everyone!
We will have amateur radio VE testing on site this year. Testing will run from 9 am to noon. Please reach out to Pete Wene (pete <at> wene dot net) via email with any questions you may have.
